GOING ALONG .... the sad dog is one of our most beloved stories. Of all the draw-a-story units, this small dog, falling into a hole in the bottom of the sea, and then scratching and clawing a path to safety above hits ones heart with a deep, resounding thud. Once above ground, the harsh elements of nature and isolation further drive this defenseless character to tears. And although the situation is not totally recitified, there is sufficient intervention to give the audience a sense of peace and atonement. Enchanting music fills in a complete tapastry of evolution and well-being.

Eight "DRAW-A-STORY" books are now in print. In addition, there are three drawing books. These books press the theme
of interpretation in one's expression. A unique drawing path
is walked by introduction of the "drip method" of sketching.
One way to draw is to start with overlapping shapes (triangles,
circles, boxes or more). Usually, this method implies a desire
to make an exact replica.

We Use Intrepretation

Our presentation does not use shapes to guide you. We present the excact details, step by step. Will this cause the participant to make a character that does not mimic the one drawn? Yes! Is that the purpose of this program? YES!

Each member of the audience (no matter the age) will create their own, personal interpretation. Their personality will literally jump out at them!

Convincing someone that their rendition is equal to or better than the one drawn by the cartoonist is usually unnecessary. Seeing in their hand a picture to be proud of does the trick.
